Description
!DISCLAIMER!
You will need a printer with a larger build volume (~300x300mm) to print every part of this model. Most pieces can be printed on a printer ~250x250mm but for the largest pieces, you will need a large printer.
A printable chassis based on the Pallet Rifle from the hit television series: Neon Genesis Evangelion. Well, mostly the rebuild version with my own artistic touches here and there.
Fully detailed instructions are provided with this model. STEP files are also included.
In all, this took me a little over a week to finish. I used some digital reference models by Mussy to get the receiver/trigger pack dimensions correct. It took a little bit of modifying but was overall a solid reference.
For the cosmetic areas, I used this model by MasterBrick33:

All other dimensions or cosmetic choices were obtained by using my own 10-22 and art style.
This model is only a CHASSIS for a rifle. It WILL NOT discharge a projectile on its own, nor is it designed to fire anything without the addition of a specific rifle (10-22). This also means that this model can be used for cosplay purposes
This CHASSIS is designed for the Ruger 10-22 (non-takedown version) with an 18.5" barrel. To preserve the cosmetic appearance of the pallet rifle, I limited the chassis to 10 round magazines only. You can probably fit a larger magazine in there with some effort but it probably will not want to come back out.
If you decide to paint this model, I would recommend using Rust-Oleum "Canyon Black" and "Moss Green". It's what I used and it looks awesome.
This is also not fully printable as you will need to buy some hardware that I elaborate on in the README.
This is not a particularly hard build. I am 16 and I could put it together with minimum effort.
