3D Printed Airplane Tire Filament Spool Mount

This unique design transforms an empty ESUN filament spool into a decorative and functional aircraft wheel and tire display. The model consists of segmented tire pieces and a central wheel hub that securely fit onto an empty ESUN spool (1kg size recommended), utilizing it as the internal structural frame. This creative upcycling project gives your discarded spools a second life as an eye-catching piece of decor or a themed filament holder.

The assembled model has dimensions of approximately 228mm in diameter and 96mm in height.

The design is versatile; the tire segments can be printed in TPU for a realistic, flexible "tire" feel with excellent grip, or in PLA for a rigid, decorative finish. The wheel hub, designed to look like an aircraft rim, adds a striking detail. It comes with an optional stand to proudly display your custom aircraft wheel on a desk, shelf, or as a unique component in a larger aviation-themed setup.
