Simple, yet effective loom for creating beaded bracelets, bands or small pictures.
The groves on top separate the strings evenly so you can place a line of 2mm beads on it.
PETG is tested and works very well.
Additionally needed parts:
- 1x Threaded rod M5x60mm
- 1x Hexagonal head bolt M4x10mm, slightly longer is also ok.
- 1x Hexagonal head bolt M5x10mm, slightly longer is also ok.
- 3x M5 Wing nut
- 1x M4 Wing nut
- 3x M5 Washer
- 1x M4 Washer
Assembly:
- Insert the M5x10mm bolt into the spanner and fix it with a washer and a wing nut
- Position the spanner in the loom
- Drive the M5 threaded rod throught the base and spanner
- Use one wing nut on each side to fix the spanner
- Insert the M5x10mm bolt into the base, add a washer and a wing nut
- You're good to go
Usage:
- Fix one end of the strings to the base (or span over the middle of longer strings
- guide the strings to the other side, separating them with the grooves on top.
- Fix the other end of the strings to the spanner
- Span the strings and don't overdo it, the loom will bend before the strings snatch.
