The busts featured in these bookends come compliments of
Scan the World, the world's premier archive of works of art in three dimensions.
The first bookend is a bust of an Italian peasant, which is housed in a private collection in Italy. The second is Queen Nefertiti, wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten of the18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, and possibly a Pharaoh in her own right. Her bust is a crown jewel of Berlin's Neues Museum.
Each bookend is about 17 cm tall (though naturally can be scaled to taste in your slicer), and is quite stable thanks to a tab that has been added to each half of the base. To get extra grip on exceptionally slippery shelves, however, you may wish to elongate these tabs.
For unaltered bust files, visit Scan the World's page for
Italian peasant and
Queen Nefertiti. Note that remixes are non-monetizable and must credit these sources.
