Description
This one places two standard trapezoid box cutter blades end to end to form a double-sided, wide-angle 'blade'. I based the blade placement on that of an ulu, which is a multipurpose knife design from Arctic North America. With a trench knife style grip, it works well for slashing cardboard due to the angle of the blades. It would probably also be good for rough cuts of large sheets of anything...carpet, cloth, tar paper, roofing, leather, etc.
Total edge length is approximately 4.5". Also, be aware that from a legal perspective, this might qualify as a fixed-blade knife. Thankfully, where I live that’s not a concern, but it might be for some of y’all.
