Description
N scale (1:160) model of the Derby Wharf Light, located on the historic Derby Wharf in Salem, Massachusetts (USA). This small lighthouse forms part of Salem’s historic maritime district, one of the most emblematic port cities in New England.
Built in 1871, the lighthouse consists of a small white-painted brick tower — originally red — equipped with a fifth-order Fresnel lens. Its simple architecture and compact dimensions make it a very characteristic structure.
The model reproduces the building while respecting the proportions and overall appearance of the real lighthouse, including an alternative version with exposed brick texture.
You can rescale the model to suit your project, but please note that some parts may lose strength or fine detail if resized. The download includes a conversion chart from 1:160 to other scales (e.g. H0).
The model consists of 6 different parts that must be assembled and glued like any standard model kit. It includes STL files with and without supports, as well as a step-by-step assembly guide to simplify printing and construction.
