Description
I've always thought the design of the FN P90 magazine was unique, clever, and the best way of fitting a long stack of ammo onto a short rifle. So after my AAA version (see below) seemed to work, I revisited the dimensions to create this one. A double stack of batteries is converted to single stack and then forced to make two right-angle turns....about perpendicular axes. A manufacturing nightmare if not for CNC/3D printing.
This takes 75g of filament with the listed settings. It is a single piece without a follower, gravity fed and thus needs to be used in the orientation shown. There's a hole for hanging on a wall, and a window to see remaining batteries. A little bridging is required in the twisting channel at the bottom but there's enough clearance that some drooping won't detract from functionality. I don't have enough AA batteries on hand to test capacity, but it should be at least 23 or so.
