3DWW’s second 2 axis FPV micro camera gimbal is designed to make the pilot feel like they are flying inside aircraft.This gimbal designed to be compatible with most airplanes and drones and it can be combined with head tracking system.The gears on the gimbal allow the camera to rotate at wider angles (360° Pan angle) and allow it to fit into very small volumes and cockpits.It will be mounted on vehicle by 4 screw slots or with 4 anti vibration silicone/rubber dapmer.In the design phase, it is designed not to use adhesives for easy repair (only Vtx platform will be glued).Gimbal has 2 micro servos to pan and tilt movements and of course a mini digital FPV camera will be mounted on inner parts.In total, gimbal has 17 pieces 3D printed parts that very easy to build and assemble.
Camera slot is suitable with DJI and CADDXFPV digital FPV cameras.
New Features – 16.04.2025
With the newly added parts, users can now mount the pan section directly to the servo without using any gears. This optional design makes the pan movement more precise. The pan servo is also connected directly to the tilt section without losing torque.This design also allows for a lower-profile gimbal build.
However, because there are no gears, the pan rotation is limited to the servo’s movement range — usually about 120° (60° left, 60° right) for standard R/C servos.
Since the pan servo is mounted from its rotation center, the original cable channel (which allowed cables to exit from the bottom) is not included in this version. Instead, camera cables come out from the back of the tilt section.
