Description

Is it space-efficient? No. Has it been done before? Not that I know of. I designed a helical battery magazine for AAA batteries, but with the batteries slanted instead of upright. In a usual helical magazine holding cylindrical objects, the axes of the cylinders are parallel to the helix axis, but not with this one. Twisting the rotor clockwise directs the batteries up the helix to the stop, where they can fall into a user's hand. Refilling is as simple as sliding the batteries in from the top. This holds 40 batteries, and takes around 231g of filament. #CULTSXBOX If you need one for AA batteries, see below: [creation helical-high-capacity-battery-magazine-aa-version] Other novel designs: [creation binder-clip-bear-trap-improved] [creation iris-bottle-trap-live-small-game-trap] [creation spring-bending-jig]
