Description
The 'Hexagon Overload' Desk Lamp
The first in a series of lamps inspired by the Greeks' love of honey [therefore the honey bee]. The honeycomb form disperses light at different intensities creating a striking 3D lighting effect.
This product has been designed for an E27 lamp-holder [40mm Diameter] if you can't find one of those let us know and we can supply you with an adapter plate/alter the design.
We printed this design with Pearl White, Satin Salmon, Matt Gold and Yellow PLA [Real Filament]
6 x 4mm x 16mm L screws will be needed to complete this build.
We have tested this product with a 15W light bulb and there has been no deformation of the PLA. If you use PLA we wouldn't recommend going much higher than this.
To print this design we used an Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer and the print in the photos is printed with:
A 0.6 mm nozzle @0.35mm layer height
[you can also use 0.25mm, 0.4mm +0.8mm]
