My current project involves making my home "smart."
This includes bringing my plants into the smart home ecosystem; to draw meaningful conclusions about their environment, I need a way to monitor the amount of light each plant receives.
Since I am averse to sticking things directly onto the windowpane, I designed these spikes so that I can insert the light sensors directly into the flowerpots without taking up any additional space on the windowsill.
The light sensors were sourced from AliExpress. A product image is attached.
