⚙️ MODULAR CONFIGURATIONS

1. Shelf Setup (3 Options)
   • 🅰 Spools + Build Plate Organizer: 3 spool bases + dedicated space for up to 6 build plates.
   • 🅱 Dual Container: A two-section interlocking module, perfect for organizing printing tools or large amounts of silica gel.
   • 🅲 Single Large Container: A wide single bin for bulky accessories or extra desiccant storage.
2. Bar Setup (2 Options)
   • Horizontal Setup: Spools are aligned on the same level. There is a slight overlap between front and rear spools; this is the ideal solution for alternating full (new) spools with partially used ones.
   • Rear Lift Setup: The rear bars are slightly elevated. This provides a better view of the filaments in the back and significantly limits spool overlap.

🛠️ RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS
To ensure structural integrity, we recommend the following parameters:
• Recommended Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA for high mechanical strength.
• Wall Line Count: At least 3 or 4 walls (crucial for screw holes and bar supports).
• Infill: At least 20-30% (Gyroid or Grid recommended).
• Layer Height: 0.20mm or 0.24mm.
You can use PLA for the organizers if you prefer; I better like PETG

🔩 TECHNICAL ASSEMBLY NOTES
• Aluminum Bars: Ø12 mm. Precise length: 55.8 cm.

• Caster Wheels (optional): Use M8 screws (the BESTÅ base already has M8 threaded inserts). Choose wheels taller than 5.5 cm to ensure the brake lever doesn't hit the cabinet frame.

• Sealing: Apply the perimeter gasket (cut longitudinally for a better fit) and use silicone to seal any cable pass-throughs for LEDs or sensors.

• LEDs + aluminum profiles (choose the right power plug!! american/european): you should use 2-meter long LED strips with 12V cold white light, similar to the ones in the link. You can add a proximity sensor and potentially use LED profiles to be attached to the inside of the GLASSVIK fronts. Personally, I installed them on three sides of each of the three fronts, plus a single strip under every shelf, housed inside an LED profile.

• Screws
You can buy them at a local hardware store. I've included an Amazon link, but the screws might not be available in some countries. You can look for something similar using this description:
--M2 x 10mm Phillips Pan Head Self-Tapping Wood Screws x 18 pieces for alluminium rods supports
-- M3 x 10mm screws should work fine. However, the quantity depends on the chosen configuration for the aluminum rod supports: if it's a single-section setup, 6 screws are required. If you opt for the rear coil configuration at different heights, you'll need 8 to 10 screws instead of the standard 6 horizontal ones per shelf
--M4 x 12mm Phillips Pan Head Black Aluminum Screws (less than 9mm Head Diameter) x 6 for handles, M4 x 20 mm Phillips Pan Head Black Aluminum Screws (less than 9mm Head Diameter)12 x external magnet closure.
