The height gauge can be used to Router and Table Saw.
Height setting error is not higher than ± 0.1mm
###Required:
- M6 hex nut
- M6 hex bolt, 40, 50 or 60 mm long
###Maximum gauge height:
- 22 mm for version with 40 mm bolt
- 32 mm for version with 50 mm bolt
- 42 mm for version with 60 mm bolt
#Assembling the gauge
- insert the nut into the support
- place the knob on the head of the bolt
- screw the bolt into the support
- screw the heel onto the end of the bolt
#Calibrating the gauge
- make a mark with paint or a marker on one side of the support. For convenience, you can also mark the starting point arrow on the handle with paint or a thin marker.
- place the gauge on a smooth, flat surface.
- tighten the bolt with the knob until the heel touches the surface.
- by screwing in and out the heel and/or rotate the handle, ensure that in the 0 position the arrow on the knob coincides with the mark on the base.
#Setting the required height
- check the 0 position. If necessary, adjust it as described above.
- turn knob counterclockwise to raise the heel to the desired height. One turn of the handle raises the heel by 1 mm
- the marks on the handle give a step of 0.1 mm. Thus, 5 divisions (half a turn of the knob) = 0.5 mm.
