Hi. I am sharing my new project PRECISION DIAL INDICATOR on wich I worked over 3 months. You can use it to bed leveling in your printer, measure runout, use on CNC machines etc. or ... have an interesting gadget :). For a long time i was looking for how to minimalize backlash. In my opinion this tool is very easy to assembly, but requires a good printer calibration. I tested PRECISION DIAL INDICATOR on my Ender 3 PRO but also ordered testing on other 5 different printers and 5 different users. It may be required to reprint some parts with another settings in the slicer. If the mechanism is not moving smoothly I think the best way to fix it is reduce external wall (for example by less flowrate or by using scaling).
