This is a pasta press with the accompanying cutter. It creates pasta with ca. 75mm diameter.

Assembly

Assemble as show in the exploded-view diagram. The hinge-part with the short tab goes into the narrower shell. The hinges are a tight fit by design, you can use the tabletop to press them in. As an axle use a piece of 1.75mm filament cut to length.

Food Safety

You will have to make your own judgement concerning this, and there can be lengthy debates had about it.
For me personally there is no issue in this case. I print in PLA and do scrub the surfaces thoroughly with soapy water before use. There are no solvents like alcohols or fat in the dough that would extract contaminants from the plastic, should there be any. Also there is no abrasion happening.
