Description

I took the original model and colored it so that it can be printed with a 4 color AMS setup.  I split up the pieces into different plates so that each piece can be printed in your choice of 4 colors.  You can of course use it with more than 4 colors if you decide to change colors yourself.

I added negative parts to get magnet holes for the feet so they can be place on the feet holes I also created on the base rock.  I also added a Japanese “The Legend of Zelda” logo to the base and cut the height of the base as I felt is used way too much filament and took too long to print. The shield straps have been resized because they did not match up to the holes on the shield that are meant for them.

I printed in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer spacing.  It came out ok, but would probably be better, as well as taking much longer to print with 0.16mm layer lines or better and even better with a 0.2mm nozzle.  My print lost a lot of the finer details I have colored because of the nozzle size and spacing.  But I think the model still looks great the way I printed it and stands out a lot more than paint.

If you want the figurine to stand steady on the base, I suggest gluing four 5x1mm magnets in the holes on the base and Link's feet.
