Description

The model I made is a visualization of the Pythagoras' theorem, which says that when a triangle is right-angled, a square plus b square equals c square.

I wanted to make it easier to understand for kids so I made a “fidget” slider with 5 figures (look at the photos) the black square represents an A side of the triangle and the white elements represent a B side of the triangle:

Your job is to arrange the figures on the other side of the puzzle to make a square with side length C:

This shows and physically proves the validity of the Pythagorean theorem which might be useful when teaching this theorem in school.

I hope that it will help someone to really understand what Pythagoras' Theorem mean, because sometimes teachers in school just show you the equation but don't explain what does it mean in practice.

The model can be printed smaller up to 50% scale, happy printing!
