Omega Speedmaster Clock – Custom Second Hand & Silent Movement
Inspired by @grantg's Omega Speedmaster Clock (Clock Kit 011), I made some improvements for a more authentic look and a smoother, silent movement.
Redesigned Second Hand:
- Matches the original Speedmaster style.
- Same length as @grantg's version.
- Added a pin for easy fitting into the movement
Silent Movement Upgrade:
- Replaced the ticking quartz movement with a silent one from Aliexpress.
- Now the second hand sweeps smoothly.
- Works with affordable movements that have the same thread.
Print Settings:
- Nozzle: 0.2 mm This means longer print time, but at least I don't have to pay for the shipping.
- Layer Height: 0.1 mm
- Initial Layer Height: 0.1 mm
- Preset: 0.10 High Quality (BBL X1C, 0.2 mm nozzle)
Notes:
- Handle the second hand gently; it's fragile.
