Indroduction

About 10 years ago, I made heart-shaped eggs for my then-girlfriend, which seemed to have worked well since she is now my wife. This design was created to make it easier to recreate those special heart-shaped eggs. Just remember to handle the hot egg with care to avoid burning your fingers, and don't press too hard with the top mold to prevent the egg from breaking. After cooling, you'll have a perfectly shaped heart egg to enjoy with your loved ones.

Surprise and Delight

Using this mold is a wonderful way to bring a smile to your loved one's face. Whether it's a special breakfast in bed, a romantic brunch, or just a thoughtful gesture, these heart-shaped eggs are sure to show your affection. It's the little details that can make a big impact, and this mold helps you create a memorable and heartfelt moment.

Material

It is recommended to print this design using PETG or any other food-safe material. If you place something like kitchen paper between the egg and the mold, PLA can also be used (tested).

Application

  1. Cook the Egg: Boil the egg to a medium consistency, so the yolk is still shapeable.
  2. Form the Egg: While the egg is still warm, peel it and place it into the mold. Be careful not to burn your fingers!
  3. Press and Shape: Place the top piece of the mold onto the egg, pressing it down gently to create the heart shape. Be cautious not to press too hard to avoid breaking the egg.
  4. Cool and Set: Allow the egg to rest in the mold for at least 10 minutes to set the shape. You can place it in the refrigerator, although room temperature works as well.
  5. Enjoy: Once the egg has sufficiently cooled and taken on the heart shape, remove it from the mold and slice it. Bon appétit!
