Description
I wanted a lightbox that was easy to print all the parts on one plate, too many of the ones I found where multiple plates.
So I designed this box to fit 3 lithophane panels in, you can even fit 2 complete boxes on one A1 plate.
The lithophanes I made on the Litho Maker app they are 100mm x 100mm full settings as per photo included
Which I then printed at 0.12 lay height standing vertically using 10 walls to ensure full thickness.
For lighting I use LED strips 2 strips cut to length and stuck to the base and soldered to a USB C adapter which fits perfect into the hole on the backplate.
LEDs: Any 6000k COB Led strip will do
USB C plug: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CDC1X4BY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
The Pieces will press together and hold by friction, however, there are also 4 holes on the base for M4x10 or M4x12 Socket Cap Head screws that will hold the base to the frame if you want it to be more secure.
Edit Version 2 print profile 2: In this box I trimmed down a number of pieces in the box and removed the hole on the back as I know many people use different methods to light their boxes, so its easy enough to add the hole yourself using a negative in Bambu studios if needed
This print uses less PLA and prints faster than the old box at the same layer height.
