Magnetic Yeti lid holder for medium sized lids

Magnetic lid holder for Yeti models listed below.  This version is a full back model.  For the skeletonized version that is also in the pics, go here.  This model uses 10mm x 3mm magnets and if good magnets are used, is very strong. The strength does depend on the fridge or appliance you're attaching to thought.  I found that this works decent on the side of my fridge, but worked much better on the front, so just know that the metal you're attaching to makes a difference. I linked the magnets I used below.  There is a pause in the print where you insert the magnets (should be on layer 19).  Insert the magnets and resume printing, no glue is needed.

 

I recommend using PETG for the support to make it easier to remove.  It can be done with PLA as your support material, but it may leave marks, and may be harder to remove.

 

*Note you MUST use a STAINLESS nozzle. A hardened nozzle will pull the magnets up during the print since it is ferrous and attracts magnets.
