Description
I have a free standing bird feeder (seen in picture 2) which has a 75x75mm hole in the middle, where you add food for the birds. The idea is, that more food will come out as the birds feed on the already exposed food. However, the seeds in the middle of the hole will never be fed due to this construction. Hence I designed this spreader which, when inserted all the way into the hole, will make sure no seeds are left in the middle.
The spreader has a 74x74mm foot print to allow insertion and the four tower in each corner has a couple of millimeters more to ensure the spreader stays put in place.
The spreader in the picture (the prototype) is printed in black "PLA Basic" on a Kingroon KLP1. To ensure the longevity of the printed part, you should use PETG, ABS or ASA for the final print.
The model was created in Tinkercad.
