No glue is needed. Everything is pushed to assemble.

 

I printed a more difficult version scaled to 50%, and still works cool. However for such a small size better to print the rod in one element, because scaled connectors might be too small.

Gold (numbers): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EJ2t61S - also extra fine if You need to print coins or jewelry or cups or something like that

 

If You like to use the padlock and need the best strength I suggest printing the rod horizontally and using CF material.
