iPad Shower Caddy

A relative of mine was looking for a way to hang his iPad from the wall of his shower enclosure in order to watch sports, never missing a play even when in the bathroom.  

 

I designed this hang from the top railing, placing the iPad on the outside of the shower allowing him to watch through the glass.  Since I designed it with sliding joints, it could easily hang on the inside (if you had a large enough shower to avoid getting it wet).  Or you could hang it on the shower wall facing outwards for viewing while at the sink.  Just turn the bottom section around and slide it on.

 

The iPad holder section could be sliced and shrunk for smaller tablets like Kindle Fires or modified to fit Android tablets of various sizes.  Or the hanger could be modified to mount to other surfaces like a closet hanger rod.  In addition, the extender piece could easily be lengthened or removed in order to suit your height needs.

 

Not sure how many people will find this useful, however it could be easily modified to suit several other needs so I figured I'd post it.
