Description

I searched for a simple container specifically designed for TUMS but couldn’t find one. So, I decided to create my own version and share it with all of you.

DESCRIPTION

Designed for TUMS (diameter approx. 19.3mm and 6mm thickness), but can be used for variety of pills.

The size (height) of the container is defined as amount of TUMS it can hold. minimum is 2, maximum is 10.

Single size with two cap's variation takes about an hour to print (on Bambu A1 printer).

The 3MF file that includes all container sizes contains two different cap types: one with and one without the “ear”, depending on whether you want to attach it to a keychain, or not.

The Container is designed to be water-repellent. With its specifically designed double lip seal, it should provide decent moisture resistance.

I did a basic test to assess its waterproofness. I stuffed a tissue into the container and left it submerged in water for 20 minutes. Once removed from water it appeared that the tissue was completely dry. However, I would not claim that 3D prints are waterproof in general (without specific techniques or post-processing). So, better to not use it underwater :) :) .

I also tested the durability of a container cap’s “ear” - I installed the 15mm keyring and pulled it out, which didn’t cause any damage to the 3D printed part.

NOTES

This model requires a well calibrated printer.

I have printed all container sizes , on different Bambu Lab printers (X1C / A1 / A1 mini), it prints perfectly fine and threads work very well.

Tested with Bambu Labs PLA Basic, PLA Sparkle, PLA Matte, PLA Glow and Bambu Labs PETG Basic.

Boost MeI hope you will enjoy this quick print. Please Consider Boosting this model (and other my models :) ), it helps to continue to share the designs with all of you!

p.s. all my models are for personal use only!
