I have since before made a standalone version of the Quick Access Caliper Stand (QACS).

I have, after requests to make a version for the IKEA Skadis pegboard, now fixed it. :)

And also this time of course made a shorter version for the A1 Mini.

 

For this model, I also focus on getting the right grip immediately without changing the position of my hand after I grab the caliper. To achieve this, this version is a bit higher and deeper than the freestanding version. This is because there should be enough space between the caliper and the back.

 

The stand works with most calipers on the market. See user pictures in the comments from the freestanding version. I have yet not heard from anyone that the caliper does not fit.

 

Dimensions:

Length: 210mm
Depth: 67 mm (without the brackets)
Height: 70 mm

 

Dimensions for A1 Mini version:

Length: 170 mm (instead of 210 mm)
Depth: 67 mm (without the brackets)
Height: 70 mm

 

The box edge is 8 mm high for both versions.
