Gravity shoe holder (for wall mounting or skadis)

A shoe holder with automatic gravity adjustment. Fot shoes up to 200mm height.

Size overview: 

• Size S: For child and/or flat shoes up to 150mm height 
• Size M: Standard shoes like sneaker up to 150mm height 
• Size L: For standard shoes and also winter boots up to 200mm height 

The pictures show size S and L. Size M is like S but with a higher slider to make it more comfortable to use for higher shoes.

Assembly (glue / screw): 

1. Fix to the wall with 2 screws or double-sided adhesive tape 
2. Add the slider 
3. Add the lid

Skadis mounting:

You can mount up to 10 or 12 holder (2 rows with 5/6 holders each) on a standard ikea skadis wall (76 x 56cm). This significantly reduces the number of holes required in the room wall. The base model remains the same; you only need 2 separate mounting adapters for each holder. You can find a pair of the adapter as a new seperate print profile.

The adapter also ensures that the Skais wall cannot bend.

Important: It works only with size M and L! But you can also use the smaller S slider with the M or L main body. 

In that case, however, the upper screw would be visible when there is no shoe in the holder.

Additionally to the both adapter you need two countersunk M5 screws with a length between 15 and 25mm. 

Skadis mounting instruction: 

First you need to demount the skadis wall. 

Place the holder in the desired position so that both holes in the holder line up with the two slotted holes in the Skadis wall. Then place the mounting adapter with M5 thread behind the Skadis wall and tighten two M5 screws at the front.

Pleas print these Skadis adapter not with PLA matte or PLA silk. These materials are too soft for the thread. If you have strength problems with the printed thread, I could also add a further variant for a M5 nut. Write in the comments if you need it.

Print Settings if you not use the profiles: 

• 0,2mm layer height 
• 2 walls 
• 15 % infill for base and lid 
• 30% infill for the slider (to make it heavier)
