Go beyond a simple cube by using the connector piece to expand your designs as much as you want!
Make sure to have a clean printbed or the mechanisms might come loose!!
Drag all the panels of your choice to the same plate and hit print!
You'll need 6 panels for a cube, and 5 more per connector you add.
I've made:
- Flat - if you want a flat side
- Text - a side with text
- Joystick - loose joystick
- Seesaw - a switch without the click
- Wheel - spinning discs
- Popsocket - pops in and out
- Plus - a plus like on a controller
- Knob - like a potentiometer
- Ball - ball-ish joint
- Danish Brick Connector - build on it with your danish bricks :P
- Connector - connect multiple cubes together
- Keychain - atatch it to your keys
- Slot Y - a slot in the shape of a Y
- Slot U - a slot in the shape of a U
- Switch - a click-y switch
Update 1.1:
- Ratchet (CW) - a ratchet-y knob (cw and ccw is very subtle)
- Ratchet (CCW) - a ratchet-y knob (cw and ccw is very subtle)
- Button - a spring-y button
- Suction Cup (Maker's Supply) - use it with the Maker's Supply suction cups to stick it on anything
Update 1.2:
- (change) Popsocket - more surface area touching the plate to avoid print fail
- (change) Ratchet - increased tolerance
Update 1.3 Textures!
- Textured Wavy - an engraved wavy texture
- Textured Bubbles - 3D bubbles
- Textured Grooves - diagonal engraved lines
- Textured Lines - diagonal embossed lines
- Textured Spikes - a spiky surface
