Cervelo P4 Triathlon Bike - New Display Stand!

Update 2/4/2025: I designed a display stand to hold it upright and show off the name of the bike. Now it makes a much better desk ornament! Check the print profiles for the stand option. 

 

I made this model to honor the bike that has loyally carried me through many races over the years. The Cervelo P4 was one of the most aerodynamic triathlon/time trial bikes ever built in terms of pure straight line speed. This is not surprising considering its deep tube sections, sleek profiling, and incredibly narrow frontal area. 

 

The P4 introduced some clever tricks for further aero optimization, like a rear brake hidden under the bottom bracket and an integrated aerodynamic water bottle. Most modern bikes feature truncated profiles and narrower, rounder tubes for crosswind stability and weight savings, but lose the edge in pure speed. Riding the P4 is a unique experience, as you slice effortlessly through the air, but you'd better have nerves of steel and top notch bike handling skills as soon as a crosswind picks up. 

 

By sheer coincidence, it's sized almost perfectly for Dummy 13. Now's your chance to give your favorite dummy that sweet ride they've always wanted!

 

Printed at 100%, there are some very narrow sections and you'll need to be careful removing supports. I accidentally snapped off the seat and handlebars, but after a tiny dab of CA glue you'd never know it.  Scaling it up would definitely make for an easier print.
