Filament Carousel / Holder

A miniature filament swatch carousel for your filaments!

NOTE: This is not designed to hold Bambu Lab swatches. You must print your own swatches.

This carousel holds 25 18x18x4 mm swatches, spins smoothly, and requires no hardware or special materials. It even has a little ramp that allows you to select a certain swatch!

• Use your finger on the top to rotate the carousel quickly
• Use your finger on the fuzzy skin for precision selection

ASSEMBLY

It's pretty simple: align the grooves and slide on top.

If you want a smoother spin: Take some of the lubricant oil that came with your Bambu Labs printer and fill the small groove on top of the base with oil. This will act as a tiny reservoir and allow the oil to lubricate the contact point(s)/circle. The channel is visible in the photo below.

If the base is slipping: There are small recesses in the base perfect for putting dots of hot glue in (see photo above). These act as feet and prevent the base from slipping when the carousel is rotated. 

1. Heat your hot glue (on the “low” setting if you have the option).
2. Apply hot glue to each recess. You only need one medium-sized blob per foot. 
3. Once the hot glue is partially cooled, turn the base right side up and press it gently against the surface or table that it will be resting on. Make sure to level the feet (blobs) during this step. If this fails, you can scrape the glue off and try again. 
4. Once cooled and complete, assemble as normal.
