This is the huge base for Frostmourne, as well as a model for the upcoming Bambulab large printer.
Referring to Blizzard's official Sword Base, redesigned for FDM printing, the proportion is a bit shorter and fatter than the official one, and closer to the look in Warcraft 3.
Not compatible with A1mini.
Diameter 63cm, height 62cm.
Fits the 3D printing Frostmourne I made, as well as the official metal Frostmourne (the metal one needs to be infilled over 40% with the bottom core support part due to it being very heavy).
As with the sword, the original model is extremely detailed, making it too large (1.2g) to upload, so only the 3mf format file has been uploaded. If you need the original stl, you can export it from the 3mfs.
The 3mf files are divided into 4 parts, it is recommended to print in the order of Part1 to Part4.
About Print Profile:
All parts have been preset with the necessary support, direct printing can be. It is recommended to use PETG so that some tips are not easy to break. However, due to the content itself specificity, even if touched a little bad, does not affect the whole, think of it as adding wear and tear details.
Plate 1 of Part 1 is the core connector and support, needs to increase the infill up to 40% or more if the sword you're placing on is heavy (like the Blizzard's official Frostmourne, which is nearly 20 pounds), and the preset is 4%.
Plate 2 and 3 and 5 of Part1, which are 6 identical feet and skulls, but the 6 tips of plate 4 are different in each detail.
The 6 bottom pieces of Part2, divided into 3 A and 3 B pieces, they are not all the same because I wanted more details.
The 6 upper parts of Part3 are each detailed differently for the same reason.
Part4 is ice and gemstone pieces and it is recommended to print in transparent blue to greatly reduce the difficulty of coloring.
About Assembly：
Please see the attached Assembly Guide for the installation sequence.
All slots have been fully optimised and do not require sanding. No glue is needed if you don't need to move it often, but if you are going to pick it up every day for a workout, it is recommended that each slot be glued to keep it secure.
The 6 bottom pieces of Part2 need to be installed in an alternating order of ABABAB so that the runes on the top two adjacent pieces are different.
In order to reduce the damage to the sword, the socket size of the sword is designed to be a bit larger than the sword, direct insertion will be very loose and the sword will be tilted, which needs to be filled with some kind of sponge-type soft package inside.
About Color：
Coloring is recommended, the filaments native color is plasticistic.
This is my list of colors, just for reference.
This base exceeds the official base in some places and has space reserved for an LED strip, but I didn't install it because Bambulab doesn't have a suitable official part for now, so if you're good with your hands, you can try it out on your own.
