A1 Low Friction AMS Lite Spool Holder

Low friction EXTERNAL AMS Lite style spool holder with printed internal bearing to avoid extruder motor stress and varying resistance and so that the spool rolls instead of drags. Optimized for low vibration and low friction. A very good option for printing TPU.

Pay attention to the installation direction of the washer. On the side of the filament holder, you can see a screw. Unscrew it, and you can detach the holder and install it on this adapter. A screw hole is reserved on the adapter, which can be secured with an M3*12 self-tapping screw, or you can choose to install it without a screw.

Printed in PETG and ABS by default, no support needed. For detailed installation instructions, please refer to the images on this page.

Note, this external AMS Lite spool holder axle is designed for a spool with a central hole diameter of 53mm. If you have a spool with a different diameter, you will need to add a suitable adapter ring for it to work.

Referencing the AMS axle structure, this axle kit (diameter 53mm) is custom-made for the A1 machine's filament holder, and includes an adapter for modifying the feed opening height.
