Batman Arkham Grapnel Gun

Due to the lack of Arkham gadgets, I took upon the task of modeling them myself.

 

This is the grapnel gun Batman uses throughout the entire Arkham saga.

 

Printed with PLA:

• eSUN Grey
• Overture Black

All pieces are glued, assembly is pretty straightforward. But I do recommend you first join all the pieces of the body and separately the ones of the handle. Then you can join the two pieces. The body fits into the handle in a small angle.

 

I personally recommend using Gloop to join the pieces, just be sure to use proper safety gear.

 

This will be part of a series of Arkham gadgets I will be releasing in the future, so if you like the Arkham games as much as I do, stay tuned.

Update 7/15/25:

 

I revisited the model and made a few changes, first was to increase the size. It's now 10% bigger.

Second is the handle, I made it into a single piece for better printing quality.

Lastly, changed the printing orientation of the body, this not only made printing it easier, it increased the quality drastically. Here's an example of the old vs new profile.

 

Also made a few tweaks to help the new printing orientation.
