Getting Tired of Swapping Printed Cardboard Edge Protectors to save your AMS?

So was I!  So I created this from scratch in Fusion 360.

But I wanted something… more… better……..???    I looked and didn't find much for other options.

So I created my own.

 

I originally designed it for a 30mm tape core. But then I grabbed a new roll and it had a larger core so included a 30 to 38mm adapter piece.

The Halves are secured via a thumbscrew which I designed the threads to be on the looser side that snug nicely when fully seated.

 

If you need it wider then what is currently posted, scaling should work fine for the width but it would only take about 20-30 mins of work for me to adjust to a custom size in fusion if you let me know. I can also quickly adjust the core adapters for a different size.

 

 

The Original Print Profile will fit 20mm (¾") rolls.

 

One Profile is now sized for 25mm wide rolls. 

Its the one with the blue layer stripes. They like to change order and I'm not exactly sure why.

 

If you can think of any improvements just let me know and I'll see what I can do a post updated print profiles.
