Project Description: 3D Alphabet – "The Bouncy Bubble"

This project involves the creation of a full set of 3D letters (A–Z, including both uppercase and lowercase) based on a playful Cartoon aesthetic. Inspired by "Golden Age" animation and contemporary toy design, this project transforms typography into soft, rubbery, and life-filled digital sculptures. Each letter is designed to convey joy, accessibility, and a sense of tactile fun, evolving from a simple font into a "squishy" decorative object.

Key Features

• "Squash and Stretch" Geometries: The letters abandon architectural rigidity in favor of cartoon physics. Volumes are exaggerated with plump curves and oversized rounded edges that look ready to bounce. In a 3D environment, this translates to glossy surfaces, "gummy" reflections, and a sense of almost-edible softness.
• The Charm of Lowercase: Unlike monumental or industrial fonts, the lowercase set plays a starring role here. Lowercase letters (a, b, c...) add a friendly, informal rhythm to the visual narrative. With their more intricate shapes and "descenders" (like in g, p, y), they offer opportunities for dynamic overlapping and more whimsical compositions compared to all-caps layouts.
• Vibrant, Toy-Like Textures: Each piece is treated as a collectible designer toy or a piece of candy. The 3D rendering focuses on materials like high-shine plastic, matte silicone, or semi-transparent jelly, creating a sharp contrast with serious, institutional typefaces.
