Lich king Book Nook

Book Nook in the design of Arthas Menethil, the Lich king, from Blizzard game series Warcraft.

The model consists of four parts. The Arthas statue itself (2 plates), made by different maker, and the frame, made by me. 

This model is a little different from the Book Nooks I've edited and shared before. The original model is hugely detailed and has over 2 million triangles, which made it a big problem to edit and connect to the base. For this reason, I had to cut and trim the original model in the bamboo studio, put the mat separately and then glue the model after printing. At the same time, the model is so hugely detailed with a lot of overhangs, so it is necessary to have a lot of supports when printing (be very careful when removing them).

I'm aware of a few mistakes that happened during printing and subsequently when I removed the supports, nevertheless the final result (especially thanks to the beautiful original model) does not look bad and someone might like it in their library. Just pay attention to how the model protrudes into the space. I wanted to keep the entire Frostmourne sword, so this one protrudes 30cm from the frame. (The Arthas model is thus divided into two parts, connected simply by a so-called fish tail)

So, i hope you will not be so much disapointed,… and when my days come to an end, you shall be king!!!

I´ve used 30 degree automatic tree supports, but if someone will have a better result, please text me, send a photo and i edit this description, with your recommendation.
