This is a Meshtastic enclosure designed to be positioned outside for extended periods.
- The mounting posts are designed for the RAK 19007 board.
- The box uses 8 Initeq M2.5 threaded heat-set inserts, 4 to secure the lid and another 4 to secure a mounting base to the back.
- It has a hole on the bottom to accept a PG7 cable gland to bring solar power to the board.
- The antenna connector is a waterproof bulkhead mount that can be found here (https://store.rokland.com/products/uflipex-ipx-mini-pci-to-n-female-bulkhead-pigtail-cable-extension-rg178?_pos=1&_sid=8f0b02ff4&_ss=r)
- The box is sized to house a 10,000mah pouch style battery.
Update: These boxes have been mounted outside on the side of a mountain for about a year now. Completely unmaintained and running off their solar panels. If you coat them in a waterproof paint and glue them shut like I did they should be as resistant to the elements as mine have been. Good luck!
