Simple design drybox that can hold 4 Bambu spools or 5 sunlu spools. It depends on the width of the spools.
It's easy too print, cheap and doesn't cost much filament.
The PVC tube must be cut at 320 mm for a perfect fit.
Bill of materials:
- IKEA Samla 22L box with closing lid and clips (can be 3D printed).
- PVC tube 32mm. PVC tube is cheap, get one with around 3mm wall thickness.
- Moisture tight foam strip. Can be found at the local hardware store. Its used for sealing windows and doors. I suggest to put it on the box and not inside the lid. Its much easier to do and can be done in one go with only one cut.
- Humidity sensor, I added a holder for the rectangular one. But you can use whatever you like.
Moisture remover. I prefer this one (small version) filled with sillica gel. It's holds around 150g which is enough for this size box. It can be easily dried and used again with a filament dryer.
