Description

The MiG-15 was a Soviet jet fighter that first entered service in 1949. It became famous for its speed and agility, particularly during the Korean War, where it fought against U.S. jets like the F-86 Sabre. Armed with three 23mm cannons, it was a solid performer in dogfights. Though it was eventually replaced by more advanced jets, the MiG-15 left a lasting mark on military aviation and influenced the design of future Soviet aircraft. It stayed in use for years, making it one of the iconic fighters of the early Cold War. Going to make a sabre to go with the mig.

Boost Meboost for more planes :)

IMPORTANT! - Let the base cool before removing to prevent warping.

Assembly instructions-

  1. Gather components after removing them from the base plate. glue the rear landing gear wheels into the rear landing gear mounts. let dry. remove all supports. For removing supports from the fuselage sections, use a small knife and twist to loosen the support material. be careful removing supports from small components as they can be damaged easily.
  2. locate the fuselage connector, (cylinder) and use it to connect the two sections of fuselage together. if it does not make a clean fit and hide the join lines, lightly sand the faces of the fuselage component, and ensure all support material is removed prior.
  3. Insert the completed rear landing gear assembly into the slots on the underside of each wing. refer to the pictures, because which side they are on matters.
  4. Connect the front landing gear wheel into the front landing gear mount. Use glue and make sure both forks are contacting the wheel.
  5. insert the wings into the front fuselage section. insert the front of the wing into the slot first, following it with the back. Glue is recommended.
  6. Connect the front landing gear mount into the underside of the fuselage. It should extend forwards slightly, refer to the images for assistance if needed.
  7. Insert the MiG 15 sign into the base.
  8. Place the completed aircraft onto the base. there is a holder to support the tail and ensure that the plane does not tip backwards. it does not require glue.
  9. Done!
