N64 Nintendo 64 Cartridge Holder Drawer

This is an old school Nintendo 64 Cartridge holder drawer, just like the ones that they used to make in the 90's.

 

This is based off of RedKosmos original design with two major changes:

1. This has been shrunk down to fit on the plate of an A1 / P1 / X1 printer, and yet can now hold 18 cartridges (the original held 16).  There are 2 rows that can hold 9 cartridges each.
2. It is now a mostly print-in-place model.  The model is composed of two parts, the drawer you pull out, and the box that it slides into.  The only parts requiring assembly are the Nintendo 64 wording as it made sense to continue to glue them in as otherwise it would create a tremendous amount of poop.

A few other minor efficiency tweeks have been made in order to use less filament and avoid unnecessary supports.  The model does require a few supports, but they are very to remove.

 

In addition to being small enough to fit on a plate, it is also small enough to fit into an 11 inch cubby for those of you who have your consoles in individual cubbies, like me!  It still allows for plenty of room to place your N64 console on top of it and insert and remove cartridges.

 

No parts are needed for this print, the drawer will simply slide into the box and gravity will do the rest of the work for you holding it in place.

 

I've included a picture of it on top of an OG Sega Genesis drawer from the 90's for comparison.  Please note, the Genesis drawer holds three rows of cartridges, whereas this one only has 2 rows.  This design also offers more spacing between games than the OG drawers did so that it is a little easier to get them out.  And as is the case with the OG, the dividers are thin enough that they will not touch the labels, so they shouldn't get scraped up.

 

As is the case with all of my models, this is not licensed by Nintendo, and I share it freely for all to enjoy.  Please do not sell copies of it.

Note for P1 and X1 series users: The drawer fills the entire build plate, which is fine on the A1, but not fine on the P1 or X1 as they have a small corner that they are unable to print in.  In order to print the drawer you'll have to rotate it so that it is oriented vertically on it's side.  See the picture:
