Often used for quilting, but can be used for sewing projects as well.  Keeps you from having to pick up and put down sissors to cut thread while sewing or quilting.  Uses a 45mm rotary cutter.  This is also a great way to extend the life of your rotary cutter blades.  Once they are too dull to cut through fabric, they are still sharp enough to cut thread.
