Pinecil All In One Storage Box - Anker 737

I purchased a Pinecil V2 and wanted a case to store the soldering iron and accessories. I also wanted to be able to use it with the Anker 737 Battery Pack due to the compatibility and ability to use it on-the-go if needed.

I removed the storage for the power supply and flux and created a new spot to house the battery pack. I created a stop so the pack doesn't slide around and left enough room to reach in and pull it out for use with the soldering iron.

The box holds the following items:

• Pinecil v2 Soldering Iron
• 1m USB Cable 
• Anker 737 Battery Pack
• CNC Kitchen Heatset Insert Tip-Set
• Pinecil Tip Set 3 (Short Gross)
• Metal Sponge for tip cleaning

Required Parts

Please see BlackEternity's original page for specifics, but the required parts are listed below:

• 6x M3x25mm Bolts
• 1x M3x15mm Bolt for the Iron-Holder
• 7x M3 Nuts (Locking ones if you have or use Loctite)
• 608 Bearing for the Pinecil-Holder so you don't melt your plastic
• Optional: A bit of TPU for the gasket 
• Glue to hold the top insert in
• Bit of Painters Tape to get the bottom piece snug without gluing it down.

Please see BlackEternity's original page for specifics, but my print settings are as follows; I used Grid Infill because I got lazy and forgot to change the settings in the .3mf so print to your liking and preferred infill method.

My settings for my P1S were: 2 Walls, 15% Grid Infill. 5 Top & 3 Bottom Layers

The Gasket is printed in TPU. Adjust your settings accordingly. You can leave it out if you don't have TPU on hand, works great without it.

Assembly

For assembly you must use bolts and nuts (as per usual with Whitey's rugged boxes). 

If you want, you can drill out all holes for the latches with a drill bit as needed so the bolts fit without splitting any layer lines. Assemble the latches accordingly and don't overtighten the machine screws. 

M3x20 machine screws worked well with mine (I didn't drill out the holes for the hinges or latches), especially if you're not looking for all of the strength. M3x25 machine screws work well with M3 nyloc nuts, or you can use regular nuts if you like but use some Blue Loctite on them so they don't fall apart.

Glue the top insert into the top lid so it won't fall out when you open the case.

Put the optional TPU Gasket in and fill your box with all your on-the-go soldering needs.
