Imperial Credits Magnetic Fidget - Star Wars

A friend, who loves Star Wars, liked my Circuit Board Fidget and wanted one done like the Imperial Credits in Star Wars. I've done a set in Gold, Silver, and Copper colors, but you can do whatever colors you want. They also make good fridge magnets! See above pics. Enjoy!

 

AMS not required! Non-AMS users can switch color to black at layer 14 and 15, and back to gold at 16. The difference will be non-AMS prints will have 2 black layers that show on the outside, while AMS is solid gold on the outside. 

 

Only 45 minutes to print! The print profile is set up with 2 plates. One is for 8x2mm magnets, and the other is 6x2mm magnets. Each fidget set (2 bars) has a total of 16 magnets. If you want a profile for different sized magnets, just ask. 

 

If you want it to be a simple fridge magnet without magnets being inside of the print, or using less magnets, just ask and I make the holes on the outside so you can just press them in by hand once the print is completed. 

 

A pause has been implemented at the proper layer for adding magnets, with the fidgets placed at the front of plate for ease of installing. Make sure to place magnets with poles facing one direction on the left fidget, and the opposite direction on the right so the fidget for both smooth surfaces to make contact. See below for how magnets should look before resuming print. They are press fit with fingers and hold firmly. There will be no interference with the nozzle as long as it is like the picture and is flush!
