Holster Mold and Trim Jig for Glock 19 with TLR-1/TLR-1 HL
This right-handed (Left Hand Print Profile Now Available) IWB split mold is specifically designed for vacuum forming Kydex/Holstex/Boltaron holsters for the Glock 19 with a TLR-1 or TLR-1 HL installed (TLR-1 HL-X is NOT compatible). Engineered for precision and versatility, this mold ensures a consistent, high-quality holster fit while offering multiple adjustment options for enhanced user comfort and concealment.

- RCS and FOMI Blocking – Compatible with most IWB clips on the market.
- 1/4" Retention Plate – Allows adjustable retention using rubber bushings.
- Adjustable Cant – Customizable carry angle for user preference.
- Claw Compatibility – Specifically designed for Mod Wings to improve concealment by pushing the grip closer to the body.
- Adjustable Ride Height – When using RCS blocking, over-hook style belt clips can be positioned higher or lower for optimal comfort and accessibility.
- Optic Cut – Accommodates red dot optics for modern carry setups.
- Enhanced Concealment Blocking – Additional material behind the belt pass-through area helps pull the holster tighter to the body, functioning similarly to a concealment claw.
Trim Jig:
After forming the shell and drilling at the marked indicators, the trim jig ensures a precise, symmetrical cut. Designed for use with a router table and a flush-trim bit, this jig streamlines the finishing process, providing a clean and professional result every time.
Important Notes:
- While 18 top layers may seem excessive, they are essential for maintaining a highly durable mold surface. Without this reinforcement, the heat from the Kydex and the pressure from vacuum forming can warp the top layers, compromising both the mold and the formed shell.
- Although PETG is a viable option, a filament with a higher temperature resistance is recommended for better durability. Additionally, applying a PTFE dry lubricant to the mold is crucial to prevent the approximately 380°F Kydex from adhering to its surface.
- For repeated use, allowing sufficient cool-down periods between formations is necessary to prevent mold deformation. With the right knowledge and techniques, you can form a shell using .06 material and use it as a template to create a more durable mold that will withstand prolonged use.
- Drilling ventilation holes through the mold is recommended to improve suction, enhance definition, and reduce the risk of air bubbles forming beneath the Kydex, resulting in a cleaner and more precise final product.
