Stargate Teltak - Alternate Base & Taller Rings

Hats off to Martin Taichl! I absolutely love all of Martin's models! I recently printed his articulated Tel'tak, and instead of using the original desert base, I decided to go for something a little different. This remix keeps the same base but now includes a stone pathway where the ring transporters land. I also extended the peg slightly to ensure the lower ring has the same purchase as Martin’s original design.
 

As you can see in the photos, I painted the base a deep green and added static grasses for a more natural look. (Of course, that’s optional, but I think it enhances the appearance.)

Additionally, I wanted the model to sit a bit higher than the original, so I extended the transport beam on the top ring as well.
