Wall-Mounted File Holder – Minimalist & Functional

Update – October 2025

This is my first major update, and it brings three key improvements:

1. Fully Parametric Model
   The organizer is now fully parametric! You can easily adjust key dimensions—like width, height, depth, and thickness—to fit your exact needs.

    

2. SKADIS Mounting Holes
   I’ve added pre-drilled holes for IKEA SKADIS panels using standard T-clips.
   ⚠️ Note: This part isn’t parametric yet. If you need the holes adjusted for your custom size, just let me know—I’ll make a version for you!

    

3. Magnetic Mounting Option
   I’ve added a version with six 6×3 mm magnets for mounting on metal surfaces. The magnet pockets are sized at 6.1×3.1 mm for a snug press-fit.
   ⚠️ Note: This option hasn’t been physically tested yet. Depending on your print orientation, you might need to clean up or slightly adjust the holes for a perfect fit.

Key Features

This design was inspired by this model, but I wanted to create a version specifically for wall mounting. The result is a sleek and practical file holder that attaches securely to the wall using 3M VHB double-sided tape.

Unlike traditional desk organizers, this model is optimized for vertical storage, making it a great space-saving solution. While it might not be stable enough to stand on a desk with documents inside, it works perfectly as a wall-mounted organizer.

Designed for A4 paper, this holder keeps your documents neatly arranged and easily accessible.
