Description

Membership3 types of commercial licenses available to meet your needs. Your support will be appreciated.

This is a brio and Ikea compatible roundhouse that allows you to create sheds for up to 11 large sized trains. The system is modular so you can print as many sheds as your require.

It can dissemble when playtime is over.

You can also choose from a number of different outer walls to get the style you want. A attached file blank-wall.stl can be used if you want to build your own custom walls from scratch.

There is also a shed nameplate that can be customized and downloaded with openscad.

As with any model with small parts, it could be a choking hazard for young children.

Please read the assembly instructions and details of print profiles, as there are a number of optional pieces and there is no need for you to print every plate!

Print Profile - Roundhouse

This contains the structure of a single shed, with a hollow wall to maximize print time and light entering the model. I recommend using these walls for internal sheds, and only printing custom outer walls for the outermost walls.

Assembly:

Step 1: Place the floor on a solid flat surface.

Step 2: Insert the rails into the recesses in the floor, insuring that the sliding section for the door is facing inwards.

Step 3: Slide the door into the rails from the opening at the back, ensure the handle for the door is at the top.

Step 4: Slide the roof all the way into the rails. It needs to sit sufficiently far for the stopper at the back of the roof to fully engage the rails. Some force may be required to ensure it slides all the way in.

Step 5: Slide in both side walls. Ensure that the rounded corner is at the top of the model. These instructions apply to custom outer walls as well.

Print Profile - Custom Walls

Allows the printing of custom outer walls for your roundhouse. Note: There is also a file ‘blank-wall.stl’ included with the model for those who want to build their own custom walls.

Print Profile - Shed Sign

Allows the customization of a shed sign using openscad. Customize your own sign, and then print the legs located in this file. Be sure to download the 3mf file in openscad to ensure colors are maintained.

Simply insert the legs into the sign and position close to the front of the shed, allowing for the door to pass underneath.

Print Profile - Turntable

This contains the structure for the turntable. In order to handle the number of sheds, the turntable has an entry every 30 degrees.

Assembly:

Simply slide the spindle through the bridge and into the base of the turntable. Joins are supplied to adapt female to male connections.

Print Profile - Train signal

This contains an optional train signal that can be included in your layout.

Assembly:

Step 1: Layout components

Step 2: Insert spring into recess. Note the orientation

Step 3: Insert spring cover

Step 3: Slide on the arm

Step 4: Secure the front cover

Step 5: Insert into base
