Description

THE HERESY TRAIN HAS NO BREAKS

I present you with Thomas the Chaos Engine train based on a well known meme/art from Warhammer 40k.
Train hull is based on LBSCR E2 train, that in turn was a base for original Thomas the Tank Engine.

Some instructions based on plate order as in following screenshot:

  • I used regular CA glue
  • Plates 1 to 4 should be easy to attach to each other with cubic connectors from plate 8. Notice those cubes are guides for glueing, they will not hold model in place without the glue.
  • Chimney is on plate 8.
  • Skulls from plate 15 are simply attached to cabin from plate 4.
  • Once you glue together plates 9, 10 and 11, you can slide on sides from plate 5 and 6, and glue on wheel caps from plate 8.
  • Wheels should easily snap on  the connectors
  • Plate 5 and 6 printed nicely diagonally in this orientation and rotation, however whenever i changed it, it failed, you might be luckier, worst case scenario, print on side.
  • I did not glue the roof on so I can put a miniature figure inside if I wish to.
  • Back of cart from plate 7 and plow from plate 8 are hard to glue (they were too small to add real connectors or guides), so be careful. It is possible however, because I managed it with my fat fingers :D
  • The model is 2 parts basically:
I did not glue the top part of the model to the base of it (check the Glue Guide), just put it there, it holds good enough.
