Description
Did you know that the Penrose Triangle, one of the most famous optical illusions, actually exists as a real-life statue? In Ophoven, Belgium, artist and mathematician Mathieu Hamaekers constructed a real-world impossible Penrose Triangle. Although it's gone, it is still one of my favourite statue.
This 3D-printed Penrose Triangle with Stand is a tribute to the fascinating geometry behind the Tribar, originally designed in 1934 by Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd and later made famous in 1954 by mathematician Roger Penrose. Now, you can print and display your own impossible object!
