Description
Unless otherwise stated, all the information in this description is for the latest version.
This is a modular train layout that is easily modifiable and have great opportunities for being extended with new models(base, top and miniatures).
The idea is to make is easy to setup your train layout, do not need permanent space, time and money as a regular layout. But also easy and fun to extend with compatible models or even designing new compatible models your self.
It is designed to fit the Fleischmann track for scale N with bedding (similar tracks without bedding from Fleischmann might also fit).
The cover image contains parts from both the original version and version 0.2. It also contains part form motorized windmill(https://makerworld.com/en/models/1166673-motorized-windmill-n-scale#profileId-1174141) and lake top platehttps://makerworld.com/en/models/1146999-railfinity-lake#profileId-1150427. It also contains parts that are not yet published.

This system is relying on magnets to hold pieces together, but the base and tops can be used with out magnets if being careful when using it.
The system support model that requiring wires. The base frame have room for running wires underneath the top plates. Some top plates have holes for running wires form atop of the layout to underneath.
All pieces that support magnets have dedicated sockets for placing magnets. The magnets will mostly stay in the sockets, but use glue or tape to secure them in place.
When inserting magnets make sure to orientate them correctly as follow:
For base frames when looking at it lying in front of you, on the edge closest to you the magnet to the right must have north pointing away from you. The orientation of all magnets round the base frame must alternate.
For top plates and miniatures, the north of the magnets must point upwards.
Magnets: 4mm x 2mm (CA001)
The following specification is only 100% correct for the original version.
By following the specification the system can easily be extended with new models. This can be new base frames for new track segments e.g. turnouts. New buildings or other structures that fits the magnet grid. Top plates with elements attached to it where it is difficult to add magnets, e.g. a play ground where small/thin structures. Or flat plates with new “painting” on them.
Square top plates: 106mm x 106mm (this include some gap. Max room for plate is 111mm x 111m)
Base frame support rim extension from edge: 2.5mm
Space between magnets: 27.75mm
Base corner track: 250mm x 250mm
Base edge straight track: 222mm x 250mm
Base middle(not included but soon to come): 222mm x 222mm
